Job description
KABITA is an abbreviation for Kajer Binimoye Taka (Kajer Binimoye Taka) program. It is a government program in Bangladesh, where cash is paid as wages to workers for rural infrastructure development. The main objective of this program is to improve the living standards of the rural poor, landless and unemployed people by creating employment opportunities. Under the KABITA project, work such as road repair, canal digging, tree plantation, etc. is usually carried out, where the workers receive wages in return for their work.
